Fannie Mae Chasteen

Fannie Mae Chasteen, 63, formerly of Connersville, passed away on Saturday, August 4, 2018, at Aspen Place Health Campus in Greensburg, Indiana.

She was born on October 16, 1954, in Hutchinson, Kansas, and is the daughter of the late Elcer Pursifull Sr. and Addie (Cardwell) Pursifull. She had worked and retired from Batesville Casket Company. Fannie loved spending time at home and taking care of family, especially cooking and baking for all.

She is survived by three daughters, Rhonda (Alex Foreman) Chasteen, of Metamora, Judy (Todd) Lothridge, of Indianapolis, and Brenda (Kenny) Carpenter, of Berea, KY; a son, Paul Chasteen Jr., of Connersville; three sisters, Betty Lou (Chuck) Centers, of Connersville, Nancy Jo Simmons, of Connersville, and Norma Jean Henry, of Patriot, IN; three brothers, Lonnie Pursifull, Bill Pursifull, and Rick Pursifull, all of Connersville; eleven grandchildren, Alisha, Courtney, Dewayne, Cody F., Dylan, Addie, Candace, Taylor, Cody L., Steven, and Trevor; four great-grandchildren, Alexis, Carson, Drayton, Cashton, and Kenyah, as well as several nieces and nephews.

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Elcer Pursifull Jr. and Charlie Pursifull.

Visitation for Fannie will be held on Thursday August 9, 2018 from 2:00pm until 4:00pm, at Urban-Winkler Funeral Home, Connersville. The funeral service will begin at 4:00pm, at the funeral home.
