Accidents

A Ford F-350 truck driven by Paul J. Timmerman, Okeana, Ohio, and Nissan Altima driven by Denise L. Snider, 306 N. Fountain St., were involved in an accident Sunday in the 2000 block of Park Road. Snider died of her injuries at IU Health Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis, Connersville Police Officer Dean Rowland said.

Arrests

Kevin W. Neukam, 44, 2014 Vermont Ave., was arrested Monday at his residence by Fayette County Sheriff’s Department Process Server Danny Hale on warrant charge of probation violation. Neukam was lodged in the Fayette County Jail in lieu of $8,000 bond.

Michael R. Smith, 41, 3120 Richmond Ave., was arrested Sunday at his residence by CPD Officer Brad Rosser on a charge of domestic battery. Smith was lodged in FCJ with no bond.

Fredrick R. Miller Jr., 43, Greensburg, was arrested Sunday at Western Avenue and West 29th Street by CPD Officer Josh Tudor on charges of operating a vehicle under the influence of liquor per se with a .08-.14 blood alcohol level, operating a vehicle while intoxicated per se with a .15 or greater BAC  and operating while intoxicated endangering a person. Miller was lodged in FCJ in lieu of $12,500 bond.

Michael D. Thornton, 24, 416 W. 6th St., was arrested Sunday at his residence by CPD Officer Kyle Miller on charges of battery and domestic battery. Thornton was lodged in FCJ in lieu of $53,000 bond.

Christopher A. Ervine, 39, Rushville, was arrested Saturday at FCJ by Sheriff’s Deputy Justin Gray on a warrant charge of criminal trespass. Ervine was lodged in FCJ with no bond.

Solomon A. Chhoeuy, 24, 1412 Central Ave., was arrested Saturday at 3676 Western Ave. by CPD Lt. Ryan Sherwood on a charge of battery. Chhoeuy was lodged in FCJ with no bond amount listed.

Shari E. Garci, 38, 1415 Central Ave., was arrested Saturday at 3676 Western Ave. by Sherwood on a charge of disorderly conduct. Garci was lodged in FCJ with no bond amount listed.

Felisha D. Kirby, 22, Owenton, Ky., was arrested Saturday at 513 W. 3rd St. by Miller on a charge of possession of possession of paraphernalia. Kirby was lodged in FCJ with no bond amount listed.

Joshua A. Spaulding, 23, Centerville, was arrested Saturday at 513 W. 3rd St. by Miller on a charge of possession of paraphernalia. Spaulding was lodged in FCJ with no bond amount listed.

Clayton L. Frye, 18, 1300 River Road, was arrested Saturday at 1300 River Road by CPD Officer Josh Durstine on a warrant charge of theft. Frye was lodged in FCJ in lieu of $4,000 bond.

Janell S. Isaacs, 43, 331 E. 13th St., was arrested Saturday at the Fayette-Wayne County Line by Sheriff’s Sgt. Bobby Revalee on a warrant charge of probation violation. Isaacs was lodged in FCJ in lieu of $15,000 bond.

Dakota J.D. Wagner, 19, 125 W. 2nd St., was arrested Friday in the 100 block of West 25th Street by CPD Officer Clint Brown on a charge of failure to register as a sex offender. Wagner was lodged in FCJ with no bond amount listed. 

Blotter

CPD reported one verbal argument Monday.

Cambria B. Sparks, 709 E. Old Orchard Lane, reported Sunday two female juveniles had damaged fence at 2921 Grand Ave., Rosser said.

CPD reported two batteries, two agency assists, five citizen assists, one alarm response, one juvenile issue, one verbal argument, one welfare check and one fight Sunday.

Stacey E. Clontz, 3229 Ostheimer Ave., reported Saturday her golden lab named Chuck had been taken from her fenced yard, Rowland said. The dog has been located.

Jason B. Hammons, 729 Casteel Road, reported Saturday neighbors where shooting guns late at night, Gray said.

A vandal used yellow spray paint on vehicles and pavement at 1609 Virginia Ave., 1518 Indiana Ave. and on the Nickel Plate Trail, Sherwood and Miller said.

CPD reported one overdose, one verbal argument, six welfare checks, one citizen assist, one animal issue, two alarm responses, two agency assists, one fight and one juvenile issue Saturday.

Tudor reported Friday Redline MBX and a Fit Van Homing BMX bicycles were taken from the rear of Frazee Elementary School.

Sherwood reported Friday Dylan Steele accidently shot a 12-gauge shotgun while cleaning it through a door striking his brother Tyler Steele at 2300 Iowa Ave.

CPD reported six citizen assists, three welfare checks, one alarm response, one unwanted subject, two cases of harassment, one threat and one vehicle identification number check and FCSD reported one agency assist, one VIN check and one alarm response Friday.

Fire runs

Connersville Fire Department responded Sunday to vehicle accidents in the 1900 block of Park Road and at Gray Road and West Indiana 44, to a medical call at Smalley’s Lake and to a smoke alarm in the 1000 block of East 5th Street.

CFD responded Saturday to medical calls in the 1500 block of Eastern Avenue, 1000 block of East 5th Street, 3500 block of Grand Avenue, 1500 block of Vermont Avenue and the 400 block of West 7th Street and to a vehicle accident in the 1500 block of Everton Road.

CFD responded Friday to medical calls in the 2300 block of Iowa Avenue and 3100 block of Western Avenue.
