SPARSE HUNTING

A colder than usual Aprilmight have contributed to this year’s lack of morel mushrooms but Don Herrmann of Connersville came in Tuesday to show off his first mess of the season. He counted seven snows in April and compares this year’s mushroom crop to thatto a warmer spring seasona few years ago when people were finding them by the bag full. No matter, dipped inegg and flour, they’ll fry up pretty tasty.
