Accidents

A Jeep Cherokee driven by Jacob R. Redd, 3321 Richmond Ave., and a Chevrolet Express van driven by Kenneth B. Evans, Rushville, were involved in an accident Thursday at Western Avenue and 37th Street, Connersville Police Lt. Ryan Sherwood said.

Arrests

Carolyn C. Christian, 47, 2785 Country Club Road, was arrested Friday on Eastern Avenue by CPD Officer Brad Rosser on a charge of driving while suspended. Christian was lodged in the Fayette County Jail with no bond amount listed.

Anthony R. Griffin Jr., 46, 942 Walnut St., was arrested Thursday in the 500 block of West 11th Street by Sheriff’s Deputy Dan Becker on a warrant charge. Griffin was lodged in FCJ in lieu of $1,000 bond.

Tyler S. Johnson, 21, Richmond, was arrested Thursday at FCJ by Sheriff’s Sgt. Jason Cloyd on a warrant charge of sexual misconduct with a child. Johnson was lodged in FCJ in lieu of $15,000 bond.

Kelsey R. Rummel, 27, 3357 W. Serenity Pkwy., was arrested Thursday on Park Road by Becker on a charge of operating a motor vehicle under the influence of liquor per se with a .08-.14 blood alcohol level. Rummel was lodged in FCJ in lieu of $10,000 bond. 

Blotter

CPD reported two citizen assists and three Operation Pull Over violations Fridays.

Richard L. Tarvin, 608 Oak St., reported Thursday someone had dumped a mattress and other junk into a yard at 214 Summit Ave., Sherwood said.

CPD reported one threat, three citizen assists, one verbal argument, one juvenile issue, two animal issues, two batteries, one threat, one unwanted subject, one welfare check and one alarm response Thursday.

Fire runs

Connersville Fire Department responded Friday to medical calls in the 500 block of West 30th Street, 300 block of Beech Street, 300 block of Hickory Court and the 2500 block of Iowa Avenue.

CFD responded Thursday to a medical call at Vine and 5th streets and to an alarm malfunction in the 1900 block of Virginia Avenue.
